Your Faith, Your Life: An Invitation to the Episcopal Church, disguised as a reference book of information, is about transformation. It is about the lion in your heart becoming a lion in your world. It is about relationship. It is about process: being attentive, intelligent, reasonable, responsible, and in Love. It is about increasing our attentiveness and transforming our consciousness through reflection on our faith and live and on being in Love. Ultimately, it is about secrets of the heart, whispers within of the hidden presence of the real. It is about telling secrets of God’s visitation.”

Your Faith, Your Life: An Invitation to the Episcopal Church
So my friend Blake and I went to see Father Robert of Emmanuel Episcopal Church this past Tuesday and had a chat with him about joining the Episcopal church. This quote is from a book that he handed us to learn more about the church. What I find timely about my journey of discovery regarding the Episcopal church is this desire to return to what I felt in my childhood that has been lost in some sense to the cognitive machinations of my inner self: a sense of mystery, Love, and the presence of God in my daily life. In some ways, I had forgotten that it’s not just thinking about God that is of importance, but also to experience his joy, his mercy, his very presence indwelling and surrounding me.
