Medical School
So, here’s the deal. I want to be an MD (well actually a DO, but I’ll get into the differences later), but my science GPA needs some help. In order to make this a reality, I will need a very high MCAT score. I’m talking about 28 or higher, preferably 30+. So, what I’ve got to do is get serious about this organic chemistry. My first test was abysmal, but that can be fixed. I know what to do. The second thing to do is start working on all the requirements for admission, which means getting geared up to take the MCAT and getting all the stuff prepared for sending to admission departments. I’m sticking with DO schools entirely. I want to focus on primary care pediatrics, and they have the best primary care programs. Needless to say, I’ve got my work cut out for me.
