The Power of Literature
My friend Ellie, who is of Iranian descent, did her thesis paper on the influence of literature on the Iranian revolution. Considering the recent developments in Iran, from the disputed election to the protests, I thought this article on NPR was rather apropos:

I wonder what effects literature will have on this generation of Iranians.
