So, Margaret Atwood, author of The Handmaid’s Tale and self-proclaimed feminist, is now on twitter. I saw a video of an interview she did with Bill Moyers a while back in which she proclaimed she was an agnostic and not an atheist. When Bill Moyers asked her why, she said atheism contains the same sort of dogma and absolute claims that theism contains. I’ve been enamored with her ever since. Agnosticism, feminism, and all (this despite my strong episco-conservative leanings). P.S. And that last bit, if you know anything about the Episcopal church, is definitely a joke. Do people even get those anymore? You know, jokes … hmmm.
