Natalie Portman pulled it off well enough. Besides, you’d be surprised how many women can get away with cutting all their hair off. I think it’s largely a western cultural convention that has led to the development of this normative idea that women don’t look good with all their hair cut off. I, however, have seen too many women with no hair that look just fine.
