May 6, 2010
So, my May officially begins tonight at 10pm which coincides with the end of my organic chemistry II final. Here’s what’s on the agenda for May:
- Studying for the MCAT - the MCAT is a bitch, but I will tame it. In order to tame it, however, I will be studying around 8 hours per day. Should be fun?
- Cooking with Abby - I want to hone my cooking skills, and Abby wants to learn how to cook, so we’ve decided to tackle it by cooking like once a week and having people over. Should be fun? Hells yeah!
- Writing - I really want to work on a collection of short stories, or vignettes with the hope that I can get a few published in a literary magazine or as an entire collection. What hope do I have of getting a collection of short stories published on my first try? Slim to none, but here I go!
- Visiting friends - there will be many fun filled weekend trips. My awesometer peaks just thinking about it.
The photo is of a dessert I plan on making as soon as this semester is over. Sunday sounds like a good time to enjoy food, dessert, and wine after mass. Feasting is, for those who don’t know, an important religious tradition, and we wouldn’t want to ignore tradition.
